Dr. Eric Goodcase

Eric Goodcase, PhD, LMFT is a Project Coordinator with VitAL Alabama, a group dedicated to improving mental health within the state of Alabama. Dr. Goodcase received a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Kansas State University, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Alabama, and an American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy Approved Supervisor. He has published research on a variety of topics including romantic relationships, intimate partner violence, and mental health. Dr. Goodcase is passionate about public scholarship and currently volunteers with a group called Relevate, which is dedicated to improving the public’s knowledge of relationship science. He currently hosts a podcast called Relevate Presents: Scholars Ship which interviews relationship scientists about how their research relates to TV and Movie couples. He also teaches Human Sexuality at the University of Alabama and was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Alabama Campaign for Adolescent Sexual Health.
