SUMMARY:Dr. Neelam Punjani & Dr. Kineka J. Hull
DESCRIPTION:Dr. Neelam Punjani completed her BScN and MScN from Aga Khan University School of Nursing and Midwifery from Karachi\, Pakistan. Shortly after\, she began working actively within the community advocating for young people’s sexual and reproductive health and rights. Her career journey has been primarily focused on advocating for Women’s and Children’s sexual and reproductive health and rights. Her research interest includes promoting positive sexual health outcomes among children and young adults. Her program of research focuses on developing innovative digital knowledge translation tools that can better support parents in providing age-appropriate and gender-oriented sexuality education to their children to improve outcomes for children\, their families\, and the health care system. In her research\, She merge synthesized literature\, parents’ experiences through participatory action research and combine it with art-based approaches. Her goal is to do critical advancements in patient engagement and nursing science through the development of new research approaches and knowledge translation activities. \nKineka J. Hull\, PhD\, MS\, MSPH\, is an educator and public health professional with 15 years of experience in public health research and practice and 21 years of experience in higher education. Dr. Hull is experienced in academic affairs and educational leadership\, curriculum development\, community-based participatory research\, grant writing\, budget management\, staff training and supervision\, program development\, program implementation\, program management\, participant recruitment\, project sustainability and succession planning\, and instructional technology. She is highly skilled in community organization and building\, with experience developing community advisory boards\, youth boards\, and taskforce comprised of diverse stakeholders designed to serve underserved\, vulnerable\, and rural populations. \nDr. Hull’s main areas of research interest are adolescent and youth risk behaviors\, including sexual risk behaviors\, healthy relationships\, and sexual abuse prevention\, including human trafficking. She is certified as an educator and trainer on several evidence-based curricula aligned to her research interest.

DESCRIPTION:Blake has more than 12 years of experience using public health strategies to improve the sexual health of young adults. For 5 years\, he worked as an HIV Prevention Specialist at AVOL (AIDS Volunteers\, Inc.)\, where he conducted outreach\, HIV testing and education throughout central and eastern Kentucky. He has been in the college health field full-time for over 6 years as a Health Promotion Specialist in the student health centers at University of Kentucky and University of California\, Davis. He has co-authored multiple pieces of professional guidance to support young adult sexual health through the American College Health Association — for which he served as Chair of ACHA’s Sexual Health Coalition for two years. He is currently Chair of ACHA’s Promoting LGBTQIA+ Equity Task Force.

DESCRIPTION:I am a Black\, bisexual\, sex educator. I use she/her pronouns. I was born in Washington\, DC and grew up in PG County & Charles County\, MD. I currently live in Bend\, OR with my husband and our two dogs\, Boris & Igor. I am a sex educator\, content creator\, writer\, erotic model\, and activist. \nI went to James Madison University where I earned a BA in Media Arts & Design and a BS in Hospitality Management. After graduating undergrad I moved to Los Angeles\, CA to work in the entertainment industry. While in LA\, I started my YouTube channel with my first web series\, The Honest Millennial. Throughout my time in LA I realized that sex was my passion. I began working at the sex shop\, A Touch of Romance\, and decided I wanted to continue down this career path. I launched my sex ed web series\, In Bed With a Millennial\, and decided to apply to grad school to become the best sex educator I could be. \nI recently completed my Masters of Education in Sex Education at Widener University. I am currently working on a PhD in Human Sexuality and a PhD in Media Psychology.
