DESCRIPTION:Eric Goodcase\, PhD\, LMFT is a Project Coordinator with VitAL Alabama\, a group dedicated to improving mental health within the state of Alabama. Dr. Goodcase received a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Kansas State University\, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Alabama\, and an American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy Approved Supervisor. He has published research on a variety of topics including romantic relationships\, intimate partner violence\, and mental health. Dr. Goodcase is passionate about public scholarship and currently volunteers with a group called Relevate\, which is dedicated to improving the public’s knowledge of relationship science. He currently hosts a podcast called Relevate Presents: Scholars Ship which interviews relationship scientists about how their research relates to TV and Movie couples.
