Nursing student & Health educator passionate about young adult sexual and reproductive health. My areas of interest include menstruation, infertility, childbirth, lactation and postpartum care. My education background consists of a BS in Community Health from Texas A&M University where I also competed full time on the Women’s Swimming and Diving team. I am certified as a Health Education Specialist and Lactation Counselor.
My previous experience includes teaching prenatal breastfeeding classes, curriculum development and implementation of childbirth and infant CPR classes, and one-on-one lactation consultations with pumping mothers.
I am so excited to be working with YPSRH to help grow the community of reproductive health educators and create a safe space to educate peers on important reproductive health topics.
